Ottawa Public Library - Main Branch

Description

The Main Branch of the Ottawa Public Library is located in downtown Ottawa on the corner of Metcalfe Street and Laurier Avenue West. The current building replaced the original library, the Carnegie Library, which stood in the same space.

National Gallery of Canada

Description

The National Art Gallery of Canada is located in the heart of downtown Ottawa at 380 Sussex Drive. It was designed by the Israeli architect Moshe Safdie who envisioned the building made of glass and pink granite.

Rideau Hall

Rideau Hall is the official residence of the Monarch and the Governor General of Canada.

Supreme Court of Canada

Description

The Supreme Court of Canada is located on the west- block of Parliament Hill embedded with its own individual picturesque environment. The building houses Canada's highest level of civil authority and is the highest court of appeal in Canada.

The Dominion Observatory

Description

The Dominion Observatory was founded in 1905 in Ottawa, Ontario.  the building was an institution within the Canadian Federal Governement.

Ottawa City Hall (Old)

Description

The Old Ottawa City Hall is located in New Edinburgh, Ottawa and served as Ottawa's city hall from 1958-2001.

24 Sussex Drive

Description

24 Sussex Drive has been the official residence of the Prime Minister of Canada since 1951. It is located in the New Edinburgh neighborhood in Ottawa and overlooks the Gatineau hills.

Château Laurier
