Item Description
Minutes of the Council of the Corporation of the City of Ottawa, dated August 1956, noting the transfer of land on Green Island on Sussex Drive to the City from the federal government - on which the new Ottawa City Hall was to be built. The City Hall was designed by John Bland of Rother, Bland and Trudeau, and the building was officially opened in 1958.
