Perspective View of Wabano Centre
Item Description

The Wabano Centre is a major architectural landmark in the Nation’s capital. The magnificent structure, designed by world-renowned Indigenous architect Douglas Cardinal, is a 25,000 square foot complex that is the heart, identity and expression of Indigenous people in the city of Ottawa. Located at 299 Montreal Rd, just east of the downtown core, we celebrated the grand opening of our new building on May 9, 2013. Our expanded facilities allowed us to increase our programs and services including a maternal and child wellness centre, social enterprise programming, expanded mental health services and much more.
