Item Description
As a neighbor to the House of Canadian Government and a former workshop used during its construction, this building was a sensible choice for the site of the Supreme Court of Canada. The heavily rusticated stone and steeply pitched gablesĀ are congruent with the Gothic revival style emanated by the Parliament Buildings next door. It was built sometime around 1867.
