Item Description
The photograph depicts the framing of the structure under construction on a stone and concrete base. St. Andrew's Church is visible and looks similar to the present day church. Furthermore, the picture is a juxtaposition of stylistic elements in relation to their respective purposes such as St. Andrew's church and it's articulation of English gothic-revival in constrast with the Supreme Court's articulation of beaux-arts ideals formally through a french chateau inspired structural form.
