Looking north at promontory under construction, Supreme Court of Canada

This photograph depicts the laying of the foundation for the current Supreme Court of Canada. There is a clear depiction of wood, stone, concrete, and iron re-bar support in this display of early construction. The  view shows the landscape overlooking the Ottawa river and Hull, Gatineau across the river. This picture was taken in a scene of active construction as workers many workers are static in their acts except a handful of blurred individuals indicating active motion working.
